TIG Welding

tig-weldingTungsten Inert Gas welding is considered to be one of the most important joining methods in the processing of high alloy steels and non-ferrous metals, such as aluminium, copper, nickel, titanium and their alloys, as well as refractory metals, such as tantalum, niobium or molybdenum.

TIG welding electrodes from Labotec guarantee consistent quality, good ignition and reignition, long service life, high current carrying capacity and universally applicable (ACDC).

LIT also supply thorium free TIG-welding electrodes and welding electrodes for TIG orbital welding.

Resistance Welding

Not only welding electrodes made of tungsten and tungsten alloys, but also special materials excellently suitable for resistance welding belong to our product range.

  • Molybdenum and the molybdenum alloy TZM
  • SPARKAL (WCu composite material)
  • DENSIMET (alloys with a high content of tungsten and small amounts of NiFe or NiCu)

We supply blanks made of these materials for the manufacture of resistance welding electrodes.

On request, we can also manufacture electrodes according to customer drawings.
